Innovative, System-Compatible Air Heater

The LHS 21S SYSTEM air heater features integrated power electronics, enabling continuously variable air temperature adjustment, which renders external power control (e.g. semiconductor relay) unnecessary. Regulation via a remote control is also an option with an electroplated separate 4 – 20 mA interface as a controller, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or external potentiometer. The integrated device and heating element cover offers reliable protection against damage to the air heater from excessively high temperatures.

An additional alarm contact on the LHS 21S SYSTEM ensures high process safety during continuous use. Leister’s SYSTEM air heaters feature an integrated thermocouple for improved precision and an LCD display for target/current temperatures in controlled operation. The LHS 21S SYSTEM is optimized for a range of applications in industrial production lines, including separating and fusing synthetic fibers and fabrics, welding thermoplastics and soldering processes on thin sheet metal parts and many other areas.
